Orbea have updated their top end e-mountain bike, the Wild FS, with fresh colours and a redesigned battery cover being some of the main changes.
Review: Merida eOne-Sixty 900E e-mtb
The geometry has been updated to make the bike a little longer and lower, to make the position a little more aggressive. The new battery cover makes it even more accessible and useful, say Orbea. It fits smoothly with the frame shapes for protection and a sleek appearance, you don't need any tools to access and it comes with a highly protected, rubber shielded charging port.
You get 140mm front and rear travel., and there are two models with a 150 mm fork. All bikes come with Shimano motors, with the top four models getting the Shimano E8000, claimed to be the lightest and most compact on the market. Orbea have specced high quality sealed cartridge pivot bearings for durability and sensitivity. The colour display fits easily with other controls on the handlebar, and is both bluetooth and ant+ compatible.
The Wild FS starts from £3,299 with the FS 40 27S model, going up to £6,999 for the all-singing-all-dancing Wild FS 150 10 29S. Head over to Orbea's website for more info.
