Bianchi have unveiled a whole load of new e-bikes for 2020. The three ranges are called the T-Tronik, the Long Island and the e-Spillo, and are part of Bianchi's Lif-E electric mobility program.
Review: Bianchi Impulso e-road
Bianchi CEO Fabrizio Scalzotto says of the Lif-E program: “This is a meaningful and exciting moment for us. Bianchi Lif-E is not just a new e-Bike range that sets our new positioning in the pedal-assisted market, it is a new life philosophy, involving alternative mobility, new trends, health, innovation and wellness."
The T-Tronik (main photo above) is Bianchi's flagship e-mountain bike. With full suspension and a carbon frame on the top Performer model, it's designed for demanding mountain bikers "pushing themselves to the limit", say Bianchi. A 630Wh battery should keep you slaying trails all day long, and you also get the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor providing power.
There's also the T-Tronik Rebel, with an alloy frame but the same big battery with Bianchi's own e-MTB-tuned Bianchi Motor Unit that has five different levels of power output. The T-Tronik Sport is further simplified, and also has Bianchi's Motor Unit.
The Long Island hybrid was introduced earlier in the year, but now comes in a new black colour. With a long and relaxed geometry like the name suggests, it's built for the city and is designed to make urban travel easy.
The e-Spillo family is a 'city-fitness family' bike, built for getting around town or taking with you for weekend getaways. There are Active, Luxury, Classic and City models, all with long-lasting batteries, comfortable geometry and stylish looks.
The Long Island and e-Spillo bikes are available immediately, while The T-Tronik Rebel and Sport models are out in July 2019 and the Performer from November '19. Head over to Bianchi's website for a list of dealers.
