Biktrix has unveiled a new version of its all-terrain bike which it says will offer a range of over 100 miles. The Canadian firm has so far raised over £400,000 for the Juggernaut HD Duo via an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
Billed as an “extreme performance e-bike” the Juggernaut HD Duo is equipped with a 1,000W mid-drive Bafang BBSHD motor producing 160Nm of torque, combined with a 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain.
As the name implies, the bike features a dual battery system. One battery is embedded in the frame, while the other is mounted on the downtube. The “XXL Combo” gives you a 910Wh battery and a 1118Wh battery.
The bike also boasts an RST Guide suspension fork, LCD display, a rear rack and mudguards.
It comes with 4.8″ fat tyres as standard and is available in four colours: blue, satin black, camo and – rather more unexpectedly – ‘reptilian’.
The Juggernaut HD Duo can do up to 35mph, although the LCD can be set to restrict pedal and throttle-only top speeds.
It’s listed at $2,999 (£2,270) on the Indiegogo page with an RRP of $3,998. Biktrix are aiming to start shipping to the US and Canada in March.
