Berlin-based electric moped manufacturer Naon has unveiled its first prototype, which it’s calling the Zero-One. The firm is planning to launch two models: the 45km/h L1e, which will be available from €4,920, and the 100km/h L3e, which will sell for €6,420.
Head to our guide to the best e-mopeds and scroll through the images and you’ll see they all have quite a lot in common, visually speaking.
The Naon Zero-One has a bit of a different look.
“By utilising functional components as key styling elements, we are able to simplify our product and apply more focus on refining every detail,” claims the firm.
In terms of functionality, the L1e will come with a 3kW rear hub motor, while the L3e will be capable of 7kW with 200Nm of torque.
Less impressively, it comes with a 2.4kWh battery as standard. Naon reckons this is good for “a practical commuting range” of 70km on a single charge.
You can however add a second battery to double that. Both batteries are removable to make charging easier.
